Sharon Woodard

FOUNDER / EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR / CHAOS COORDINATOR

Sharon lives in Northern Arizona with her husband Greg. She was a coach, band director and Student Support Service Director in Page, AZ for over 35 years.  She started the indoor percussion journey in 2000 as the Director of Page HS who earned the 2005 PSA Gold Medal at the WGI World Championships.  In 2008, she co-founded Dark Sky with her sons, Seth and Tanner and band director, Chris Elias in Flagstaff, AZ. Sharon is proud of the influence that Dark Sky has on present and future instructors and educators. “This is a passion project! Human potential has always been a driving force for me no matter what I’m focused on. The Dark Sky journey is a living lab for growth and overcoming adversity.”
